Living life on purpose or just coasting by or through?

PinExt Living life on purpose or just coasting by or through?

I am reflecting on being away for a few days, meeting new friends and investing in my business. So today I was thinking to myself and for others too: “Are you living your life on purpose or just coasting by or through it?” Said another way “Are you living your life on purpose or just coasting by or through?

I am pursuing, at this season of my life, my desire to live my life on purpose and not just exist every day, coast or get by. It’s easy to be stuck in the trap when you don’t know if you are chasing bunnies or dogs in your yard for example. Same way it is in real life. Unless you are aware of what you are pursuing, or chasing as I call it, will you never really know and identity what you love doing. Wouldn’t you want to do what you love to do rather than go through life and exist? For me it was a boring lifestyle just going through life. I was there for decades and now being free, with new life, I am pursuing to help other women who are at the stuck point in life. It feels like chasing the wind.

I depended on my husband for years and he paid the bills for which I am grateful. However, I never could get unblocked to reach my own potential and develop the love I want to bring forward in this world. I am now FREE to do what I am called to during this phase of my life. As I evolve more and more I’m sure I will be fine tuned to more greatness to help others. But, till that time, I am choosing to live on purpose, do what I love and not just chase the wind, the bunnies or dogs. I am choosing to pursue my vision and goal.

Soon my website for women will be up and running: http://www.ChoosingChangeToday. Till that time I will continue writing here still and keep this around also. Just gotta get my heart centered message out instead of keeping it hidden. So, you are reading this here and I am excited. Gotta do what you have got do and not stay still till that “one day” wait till I have the money or another reason or excuse as it can be for some.

Let me leave you with awesome quote:
Jim Rohn said:

“If you don’t design your own life plan, chances are you’ll fall into someone else’s plan. And guess what they have planned for you? Not much.”

T. S. Eliot said”

“If you haven’t the strength to impose your own terms upon life, you must accept the terms it offers you.”

Cheers till we chat again soon.

Really thought-provoking article Carol. It’s so important for us to follow our purpose and thus be able to help others too. Yournew website sounds great and what an excellent name.

Although I now mainly focus on travel, I also work with entrepreneurs etc on Inspiring Leadership and from interviewing many on what makes an Inspiring Leader 3 things keep coming up – Vision, Values & Passion. To this I shall add Purpose :-)

Oh, hun. You rock.–if we just want to be ordinary, go with the norm. If we “choose” to be EXTRAordinary go with — we need to unforgettable– we want to raise the bar to ourselves and others to go viral. You deserve just that and more..hugs, carol
