Sweet or Sour Fruits
By · CommentsToday we are going to talk about fruits. I love fruits. I love finding fruit trees but short in finding in my community where roaming animals are fenced in and loving it. We have acreage here in this country setting, but out fruit trees my husband still blames on the soil. I know he put good soil in and not lacking water I am baffled on why the fruit trees haven’t produced after years yet.
There are many fruits out there. Choose fresh or frozen. Choose ripe or under-ripe, choose red or yellow apples, or different varieties. Today we are not talking about any of this stuff. We are going to talk about the sweet and sour fruits. These an be aimed at relationships, adventures you love or hate, or however you see the opposite of sweet or sour.
So to sum it up fast, when developing relationships in friends, in business, shopping for new equipment, or choosing who to spend your life or time with you may look at these as opportunities to explore. Some people are heavenly to be around, others are like toxic fumes.
Today your sweet or sour fruits can be helpful or harmful in your life. I know you will look at fruits in your life in a new way today. I never evaluated them this way till I got a “shower revelation moment..”
Enjoy you day and life with fruitful choices!
Cheers,

Furry dog
By · CommentsI love dogs and have owned at least one and sometimes three at the same time. They have been the bloodline that keeps me joyful most or all of my day. It’s a different type of love that I believe humans have given me.
I always adopt the “rejected” dogs waiting to either wait for a caring home or put to sleep. I even take in older dogs. Each is great and never had a reject.
Cheers,

Using time wisely
By · CommentsToday we are talking about time. How are you using your time? Wasting it or using it to help others or even your self. Here’s a short video, about 2 minutes that may shed some insight into the world of “time.”
I am mainly writing for that special women 50ish and above but whatever age you are I hope it is beneficial.

Our dog
By · CommentsHere’s our 11 year old Australian Shep. What makes her special are many things, but briefly she is 11 and the original vet, or call him vet 2 gave me no hope for her recent LUPUS diagnosis. I told him I don’t care what the reports show, but confirmation only. I asked him if he ever heard of a dog recovered from LUPUS and he and other vets said no. I said well with my small faith like a mustard seed, I believe she will be the first time. Before she recovered I had changed vets, but did go back and have his receptionist pass on my great news.
A book will be forthcoming as a tribute to all dogs who are deceased who may have lived longer hearing the right voice. No judgment here but for future dogs you may own, listen to your heart is my message. Even in business and relationships this great story can be told! Tune in for upcoming doggie website that will include dog products as well.
Enjoy your special dog. No dog deserves to be a throw away and if vicious then we are taking about safety and perhaps training.
Cheers,
Carol Giambri
A proud mom to a throw away dog!
Beach fun
By · CommentsSome of us don’t have the blessing of living near a beach. So in that case what can we do? Let me share what I am looking forward to doing in a few weeks. Imagine going to a bar that is rented for a Zumba Party and doing Zumba in the Sand. Can you imagine that?
“At the beach, life is different. Time doesn’t move hour to hour but mood to moment. We live by the currents, plan by the tides and follow the sun.”
-Unknown
Well, still people may not be able to find sand to play in or want to fill some of their yard up with sand to dip their feet is so here’s what you may think about:
What could I do that may not be sand like but still fun dipping my feet in?
You may try going near a pool or a creek or stream.
May may try bringing a picnic meal or snack to think you are close to water and sand by acting out like you are really at the beach.
Beach fun can be fun if you need to stretch your imagination. Let you run wild as if you are a kid, maybe a mature 50ish or older kid, with a creative mind.
Till we chat again.
Go with the beach dream and make it your reality as best as you can!
Remember to bring along enough water to drink away and keep hydrated! Wiggle those toes and take in a little toe exercise too.
Settle your mind as the water is very calming. See how much you can benefit but a “beach” experience you design?
Enjoy your beach experience or dream!
Cheers,
Carol Giambri

Smiling through storms
By · CommentsStorms of life happen to all people. Sometimes they happen whether planned or not.
“Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass. It’s about learning how to dance in the rain.”

How are you responding through your storms.
Here’s some words I would love to share with you today. Hope they inspire to looking at life through different lens when they happen.
The choose is yours of how you respond.
Leaving a legacy – remembered by your past
By · CommentsOh, before I forget. Have you gotten my free report on giving. See the gold box and be added to my mailing, not spam list, too. Share me with others. Looking to get a tribe of women 50ish, mid 50 an above banning together–celebrating life–second by second and aging too! Half of our life may be over, but it’s built us up to move ahead stronger with decades behind us! Yeah!! Your BEST days are STILL ahead!
Today’s blog was prompted by my elementary schoolmate Chris Clarke. I am talking about decades ago even seeing him or the rest of elementary or high school kids I knew. Here’s what he wrote me today based on this website and probably my About video:
“”just happy go lucky— I saw your website and it was excellent- your voice sounds so good and you look like I remembered you- “
So as I reflect on these kind words, what kind of legacy are you being remembered by? I give his words high praise as I want to stand out from the crowd, not be boxed into any mindset that doesn’t enhance helping others and then myself. I want to make a difference in this world and not just settle back in my comfort zone, behind a computer, or in front of a television monitor. I don’t want to be talk and not action.
So where do you begin to leave a legacy? Here’s a few pointers I would consider:
1. Know what you love doing. If you love making fishing poles, perhaps this skill to others who are perhaps less fortunate to pay for the class, so offer it. It may be a way for them to supplement their income or even eating sources for finding fish. If you love writing, perhaps teach a writing class, write a book, speak to groups. If you are a good basketball player volunteer. If you have carpenter hands, give a helping hand to an organization such as Habitat for Humanity. Use your gifts and spread the word.
2. Live to enjoy life. Attitude plays an important role in everyday living. You can see the glass half full or empty. I see my glass half full whereas I know others who need to have the proof that the glass is half full so they see it half empty. It’s a mindset. How do you see life? Great, sucks or just okay
I think I am going to quit here as I feel like I gave lots of meat and potatoes to chew on but for me it would be a hearty salad with a flavorable vegan raw dressing.
Go out and reflect of how you want to be remembered today. Yesterday is “gone”, today is here and tomorrow may not arrive. When you reach your last breath it is over! Over–the end–gone–finished!!! No return!!
Words to chew on that I totally embrace by Jim Rohn, excerpted from “Twelfth Pillar of Success: Legacy, Part Two”
“Don’t ever stop in your pursuit of a legacy. Many people have accomplished tremendous things later on in life. There is never a time to stop in your pursuit of a legacy. Sometimes older people will say, “I am 65. I’ll never change.” That won’t build a great life! No, there is always time to do more and achieve more, to help more and serve more, to teach more and to learn more. Keep going and growing that legacy!”
Cheers, till we chat again soon.
Last change reminder: Your free report is waiting for you. The gold box is what you are looking for on the right side of this screen. Gotta it–get it now!

Life doesn’t quit when sick
By · CommentsToday I am working on getting over this nasty flu. Hardly ever sick, but still life goes on, I am breathing, resting and knowing that I must be true to my audience, ladies here 50ish, mid or above, so I’m sharing a few words here to encourage you.
I look at the single mom or dad, today who has kids to care for and no help. Would they just give up and let the house run on it’s own? I think the single parent doesn’t take vacation when sick. So, why would I? I believe rest is important and I know I will be jumping back on my two feet soon. I am need wisdom and rest as my formula to staying in the game of life.
I may not be doing what I normally would be doing, but this is my down season I may call it, but not for long.
So concluding this post here, what can you do to keep staying in this game of live, breathing second by second to not quit on yourself. Others may depend on you as they may be me down the road.
I want to find ways to help women in this age range to be able to get or continue to smile with implants or teeth to be taken care of. If I quit I would feel I am not carrying out one of my goals here. I want to give to others who needing a helping hand, not a hand out.
How are you helping others? Does it take money to pay the dentist or vet bill? Yes. So money is important not just for paying the bills but to be able to help others.
Think about this:
I have cousin a few months older than me who needed assisted device for survival. It was about an oxygen tank married to her for months. I encouraged her and today I am proud to report only for a few months did she need that. She could have quit, but she didn’t. She back in the game of life. You hung in. Way to go Linda!
No to quitting, yes to living second by second aging.
